Tutorial&Showcase: Questing System - Final(Part 4)


Welcome to the last phase of our quest system! We're excited to share that the first playable quest has been added.

To further develop what was implemented last time, I made it so that when you talk to an NPC they can tell whether you have a quest relating to them, have completed it or have not yet accepted it. If you have not yet accepted their quest, they will have a unique introduction dialogue where they offer you the quest. If the player chooses to accept the quest, it is added to their quest list.

After adding to the quest list it follows the same as mentioned in the previous parts of the series. 

After being added to the quest list, the player can complete all objectives in the quest. Then, when the player finishes, they can go to the NPC and hand in the quest for rewards.
