Forging Your Destiny - Crafting System Part 2.5


Welcome back to part 2.5 of forging your destiny!

In our previous post about the crafting system, we shared the main visual overhaul for the original crafting menu prototype to match it with the rest of the reworked menus.

This week consists of a small teaser for the next upcoming post for the crafting menu as we continue to hammer away at it from our workshop. Previously,  if a recipe was missing ingredients, the only indicator a player would receive is a greyed out craft button.  With this new update, players will now be able to see that materials are missing both before and after selecting a recipe.

With these extra details, your crafting experience should be much more streamlined, making it easier to keep track of what you have and need for a particular recipe.

As we've already mentioned, this small change is only one of many more to come.  For the next update you can expect to see completed crafting filters, where you'll be able to sort between recipes belonging to different types of craft, such as blacksmithing or alchemy. Additionally, we'll even be creating a few new recipes for some of our recently developed consumables, such as for the Invigorating Potion!
