Teamwork Makes the Player Hurt
Did you know that enemies in Tenril actually communicate?
Hopefully not as intelligently as me or you, but they can at least warn each other of nearby danger.
When you damage an enemy they become increasingly more alert, expanding the distance at which they can see you. Not only will they do this, but they will also have nearby allies within view do the same. Although this makes sneakily attacking your enemies more difficult, it makes for more interesting scenarios where you will need to consider that not every enemy can just simply be lured away from the pack.
Not only will they communicate with their allies when they are injured, but they will do so as well when they initially spot the player. This means that alerting just one enemy could have dire consequences, as any of their nearby allies will be able to check for if you are within a chasing distance.
Teamwork really does make the dream work, but will it be your team working together?
