Quite atmospheric! I'm impressed this was made in just four days.
Its a bit slow, but I can't say that doesn't add to the horror.
Its unfortunate that the shop didn't get implemented in time! It seems like it would have added a lot of depth.
Thank you for the kind words! Can you explain what you found slow? Perhaps we can improve on that after the jam!
Its certainly not mechanically slow, you did a great job of making sure there's always something to do!
Throughout a shift though, it seems like the pace of monsters becoming active remains pretty static. I think it would feel more like your progressing if the pace started slower, then sped up over the shift. Just my opinion though, I particularly am no master at this lol
Ahhh yeah that is correct, the monsters don't change during a shift, just each consecutive shift they get 15% better at everything. And theres more of them as well as you progress.
But i do like the idea of making it more intense the later in the shift you are! Definitely writing that down for later!
I really enjoyed the game! It is very dark and spooky, I love the floating guy, would be cool to see the upgrades once they're in!
Thank you for your feedback, I appreciate it! We'll look to an update after the jam finishes
