Rose of Immortality
A downloadable game for Windows, macOS, and Linux
Synopsis:
Within a society where time is traded as currency, the elusive Rose of Immortality holds the key to eternal life. With your lifespan slipping away, armed solely with a gun, you undertake a daring journey. Each bullet fired exacts a toll on your diminishing time. Traverse hazardous terrain, face formidable guardians, and carefully weigh the cost of sacrifice against the urgency of survival in a relentless battle against the ticking clock.
This game was developed for the Jame Gam #39, although I only had 2 days to work on it so it's not the most complete.
Controls:
- WASD: Move
- Mouse to look around
- Left-click: Fire Gun
- R: Reload
- E: Interact
- Space: Jump
(This game mostly supports gamepads except for one mechanic where you need the Q and E buttons. Once the jam is finished I will finish full controller support)
Game Mechanics:
Health:
Like most other games, you have a health bar, you lose health when enemies shoot you. When it reaches 0, you die.
Lifetime:
001:02:3:23:59:32
Lifetime determines how much longer you have to live, you did not make the wisest choices and only have 1 day left to live. In this world, lifetime is also a currency. To reload your weapon, you must pay part of your life to reload it. Other mechanics in the game also require you to spend your lifetime, so don't waste time, and be careful how you spend it.
Healing stations:
There is no health regeneration in this game, the only way to be healed is by a premium healing station that for the low cost of 1 hour of your life, will heal you by half your max health.
